Even though it was in the low 40's, seven tennis fanatics still showed up at 3:00 p.m. to play tennis before the tennis party on Saturday night, November 16, 2002 at the Community Association clubhouse.
Ebe & Elke Neumann, Lee Jones, Curt Juergens, Debbie Peek, and Ken & Pat Hacker played mixed doubles and singles for almost two hours before attending the dinner and party that followed.
The tennis was just a warm-up for the evening activities to follow. A pizza dinner with pot-luck appetizer and dessert dishes from 5:00-6:00 p.m. served as a prelude to the 6:00-9:00 p.m. Cranium game mixer. Over 30 participants attended this year's annual event held in the newly completed Community Association Clubhouse Banquet Room.
The Cranium game lasted about 2 hours with the "red" team pulverizing the other three throughout the evening. A stunningly impressive musical (hummed) rendition of the William Tell Overture sealed the win over the blue, green and yellow teams.
