In honor of Jay and Pat Stover's contributions to Lake St. Louis Tennis, this event will be named the Stover Mixed Doubles Tournament. This event was run and sponsored for many years as "P-J's" Tournament. Jay Stover served as the first president in 1974 and was instrumental in getting the current tennis courts built.
This year's tournament was a great success. Mild temperatures helped keep the players cool as some matches exceeded 2-1/2 hours. 12 teams participated in the double elimination event.
