2004 Spring Party

Over 50 members attended this annual Spring kick-off party.
Food, drinks and tennis were free for the evening as the record turnout played tennis well into the evening closing down the party around 10:00 p.m.
The Lake St. Louis Subway shop generously sponsored this year's party by contributing the sub sandwiches.
Sign-up sheets for this year's tennis events and tournaments and leagues were available for members to reserve a place to play.

Tom and JaNae DeLong (President and spouse, respectively, or is that vice versa?) enjoy a break in play at the first tennis event of the 2004 season.
The third time was the "charm" as Tennis Association members finally got warm, sunny weather.
Play began around 5:00 p.m. and continued past 9:00 p.m.
Attendees brought side dishes, appetizers and desserts to share.
Singles and couples signed up for the year's first tournament, the Memorial Day Compass Scramble.
Women's and men's doubles and mixed doubles open play was the choice for the evening.
Most of the attending members signed up for the Memorial Day Compass/Scramble, just three weeks away.
