Thirteen Lake St. Louis mixed doubles teams competed in the popular Memorial Day Compass Draw on Saturday, May 24, 2003. This year the compass draw was run as a scramble. Play began at 9:00 a.m. A comfortably cool and cloudy day made an enjoyable tournament for all. Awards, prize give-aways and lunch finished the day's activities.

Lake St. Louis Memorial Day Compass Draw Tennis Tournament
Sixteen mixed doubles teams competed in sunny, warm, 90 degree weather, playing four matches en route to one of the final compass matches. First place champions in the East division, Julie Gordon and Curt Juergens, defeated runner-ups Pat Hacker and Al Clark 7-5 to capture the championship.
