PJ's Classic Mixed Doubles Club Championship Tournament & Party

Tournament Format:
Double Elimination, A & B Flights: The first round divides teams into A and B Flights
- First round Winners move on in the A Flight.
- First round "Runner Ups" move on in the B Flight.
- All teams play at least twice in their chance to win either the A or B Flights
Match Play: Teams will be seeded according to USTA equivalent play levels
- Matches will be placed on the website tournament draw sheet (this page, below) for reference throughout the tournament.
- Match pairings will be emailed to teams from the first round onward, as play results are finalized.
- Teams will have three days to arrange their match times and courts, best 2 out of 3 sets, standard scoring and tie-breaks (the Koman tie-break format is optional for outdoor play if both teams agree).
- Tournament matches will take place over approximately two weeks prior to the finals, similar to Grand Slam events.
Tournament Finals: A and B Flight Championship Finals will be held on the final week Sunday afternoon, B Flight first, then A Flight afterwards.
This tournament is open to all Tennis Association Members in GOOD STANDING*
(*GOOD STANDING = Not involved in the "Pickleball" Courts Committee action to remove the Tennis Association as a recognized LSLCA club)

The tournament dates will be chosen to allow the greatest number of members to play.
